Night Protocol - Live from The Underground

The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues this Thursday, October 13th at 7pm with Burlington Synthwave band Night Protocol, at The Underground - Listening Room located at 24 Pleasant St. in downtown Randolph.

“Night Protocol was formed in Burlington, Vermont, and has actively been performing and writing music since 2017.

Night Protocol was created to unite the sounds of the past, present, and future with a cutting-edge style of electronic music. Fueled by synthesizers and a devotion to the sounds of the 1980’s, Night Protocol performs their own blend of retro synthwave as a live band.

Night Protocol shows are driven by live analog synthesizers, syncopated drum machines, pulsing basslines, ripping guitar solos, saxophone leads, and harmonized vocals. Their live show takes a theatrical approach to music performance with coordinated visual lighting effects and a contagious sense of passion and energy for the foundations of electronic music.”

Thursday night’s show will be for our in-house audience and live-stream patrons via The Underground’s Bandcamp page. The first hour of Thursday’s ticketed show will also be broadcast on local radio station WCVR (Central Vermont radio) from 7-8pm and streamed on The Underground - Listening Room Facebook page.

In its 3rd year, the Live from The Underground series features a new format alternating songs and interview segments with LFTU host Jamie Gage, as well as audience questions via our in-house crowd and the Internet beyond. Owner and audio engineer Vincent Freeman holds down the A/V and web-streaming duties, with assistance help from Babs Mills, Sean Dollar and Jaxon Nichols.
