King Arthur Junior - Live from The Underground

The Underground - Recording Studio in downtown Randolph, Vermont continues its Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series this Thursday by welcoming Rutland’s King Arthur Junior. The 6pm live performance on Thursday, January 28th will be livestreamed digitally on Facebook and followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jamie Gage.

According to his website, King Arthur Junior was born and raised in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago and was recruited by Castleton University to play Division III hockey but quickly found his future was in music. Honing his craft since the age of 15, KAJ has been performing throughout central Vermont in the last few years, and in the last month alone has played at The Foundry in Killington, Du Jour in Ludlow, and Neal’s in Proctorsville.

Recently selected for the Massachusetts Solo Artist Awards, KAJ is passionate about both songwriting and playing the guitar, hailing heroes like Hendrix, Clapton, Allman and “all of the Kings”.

“Connecting with people through music is such a beautiful thing,” KAJ says. “It breaks down any and all barriers, whether racial, social or language barriers. Music is a language and we all understand it.”

To learn more about KAJ and to listen to his music (including free downloads!), check out his website https://kingarthurjunior.com.

Thursday's performance will be a ticketed event with 50% of the proceeds going to the artist and 10% to Chandler Center for the Arts.
