Jesse Taylor Band - Live from The Underground

The Underground - Recording Studio in downtown Randolph, Vermont continues its Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series this Thursday by welcoming the Jesse Taylor Band from Burlington, Vermont. The 6pm live performance on Thursday, February 4th will be livestreamed digitally on Facebook and followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jamie Gage.

Highly introspective, Jesse Taylor pours her heart into her lyrics and music – a blend alternately described as rock, pop or punk, and always entertaining. Originally hailing from Gray, Maine, Jesse moved to Burlington where her music career began in earnest in 2015.

Taking notes from artists like Courtney Barnett and Regina Spektor, Jesse writes songs that mirror their own passionate vocals, high energy, and unapologetic style. After performing as a solo artist for a couple years, Jesse formed a 4-piece band consisting of Matthew Sicard (drums), Nicholas Treis (lead guitar), and Ian Morris Greenman (bass), all of whom will be performing live on Thursday night.

Following a successful 36-day crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for their debut EP recorded in Boston last year, the band is gaining a steady following throughout Maine and Vermont, and are looking forward to sharing their sound at The Underground.
