Brooks Hubbard - Live from The Underground

The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues this Thursday with a performance by Americana singer-songwriter and New Hampshire native Brooks Hubbard. The 7pm performance on Thursday, June 10th will be livestreamed digitally on Facebook and followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jim Yeager.

Recently headquartered in Nashville, Brooks Hubbard is a gifted singer/songwriter who writes and performs a variety of genre-bending Americana and rock. From New Hampshire to Nashville and back again, Hubbard has carved a path as an independent musician, touring regularly around the country (solo/band) and opening for successful artists like Robert Cray, KT Tunstall, and Stephen Kellogg.

His 2017 CD “American Story”, recorded with legendary guitarist (and Vermont resident) Val McCallum and other music luminaries, was an honest and unflinching tribute to the country we inhabit. From the artists’s website: “‘American Story’ represents the good, bad, and ugly of being an American. It is powerfully charged with emotions of relatable stories and personalities of America…and offers a light of hope that simply illuminates what's most important.”

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Brooks has maintained a devoted following by performing free weekly livestreams on his Facebook & YouTube pages. Check out his original music under ‘Brooks Hubbard’ and ‘Brooks Hubbard Band’ on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.

After his appearance at The Underground on Thursday, Brooks is scheduling Summer 2021 performances throughout the Northeast For tour dates and more information, go to: http://brookshubbardmusic.com.

Thursday's performance will be a ticketed event with 50% of the proceeds going to the artist and 10% to Chandler Center for the Arts.
