The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues on Thursday, December 30th with singer-songwriter Breanna Elaine. Performing songs from her debut album “flower in the sun” as well as some newer and older tunes, Breanna will perform at 6pm on Thursday and be live-streamed digitally on Bandcamp, to be followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jamie Gage.
A seasoned performer since childhood, Breanna has always had a life filled with music. As a child she played bass guitar and sang in a youth group who performed weekly at the soup kitchens for the homeless. Raised in Brattleboro, she moved to Northampton, Massachusetts for her teenage years where she played locally with her band the “Dirty Birdies” and sang in a locally performing choir. At 18, Breanna moved to the Rutland area to care for her grandmother and brought her lifelong passion for singing/songwriting with her. Her first album “flower in the sun” was published in 2020 featuring her original songs on guitar as well as banjo.
